2 weeks agoNews ONEComments Off on Cheryl’s stalker terror as obsessed killer fan left messages and flowers outside West End show
CHERYL’S full stalking nightmare has been revealed after an obsessed killer fan left messages and flowers outside the West End show she was performing in.
Cheryl has been facing a stalking hell[/caption]
The star was sent messages with flowers on it from a killer fan as she performed her West End show last year[/caption]
The singer was put on ‘red alert’ as she performed in 2:22 A Ghost Story[/caption]
The singer has secretly been facing a stalking hell which continued even after the tragic death of her former partner Liam Payne.
Daniel Bannister, who killed a man in an attack at a homeless hostel, has been convicted of causing the Girls Aloud star “serious alarm” after going to her country mansion in Buckinghamshire.
But he didn’t stop there.
It has also been revealed that Cheryl had to increase her security when she was performing in 2:22 A Ghost Story on the West End last year.
Her team were said to be on “red alert” after she was left menacing messages with flowers outside the theatre.
Bannister has now been found to be “displaying fixated, obsessive, unwanted and repetitive behaviour” towards the singer which he knew would cause her distress.
He was put behind bars for four months in September for an offence in July and handed a three-year restraining order meaning he cannot contact Cheryl, enter Buckinghamshire, or attend her address.
But in December he is alleged to have returned to her house in the country she shares with seven-year-old Bear, court documents show.
Bannister, who has no fixed address, was charged with breaching his restraining order by entering the county of Buckinghamshire on December 10.
He is then said to have turned up at “an address where you knew or believed Cheryl Tweedy was present”, which is another separate breach.
He also attempted to contact Cheryl either directly or indirectly, which he was prohibited from doing.
Bannister pleaded guilty to the three offences in December and has been sent back to prison before his sentencing on January 30.
Convicted killer
In 2012 Bannister pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Kingston Crown Court of 48-year-old Rajendra Patel at a south London YMCA shelter.
Following the alleged attack in February of that year, Mr Patel returned to hospital on March 9 and died the following day.
A post-mortem report gave the cause of death as pulmonary thromboembolism, deep vein thrombosis of the left thermeral vein, and a fracture to the left ankle.
Bannister, who was 37 at the time, was due to go on trial for murder but the Crown Prosecution Service accepted the lesser plea of manslaughter.
The two men, who both lived at the shelter, were said to have an ongoing feud at the time of the attack.

2 weeks agoNews ONEComments Off on Who is Laceeze Bands owner Emma Burke and when was the mum-of-two on Dragons’ Den?
A mum is set to present her game-changing sports innovation on the popular TV business programme, Dragons’ Den.
The BBC reality show is back with several new faces on the panel. Here’s what we know about this season’s participant Emma Burke.
Who is Laceeze Bands owner Emma Burke?
Emma Burke, a devoted mum and business owner originally from Dorset, Hampshire, is set to feature in the first episode of the new series of Dragons’ Den.
Emma will be pitching her clever invention – a silicone band designed to stop football boot laces from coming undone during matches, aimed at youth and grassroots sports.
She started her business, Laceeze, in 2017 after deciding to tackle the frustrating issue of keeping her two football-mad sons’ shoelaces tied during games.
What began as a small project has since grown into a thriving business, selling over 400,000 pairs of these handy bands.
She says her mission is to make sports easier for children while boosting their confidence on the field.
In a post on Laceeze’s Instagram, they shared: “Family is the heart of Laceeze.
“Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines or having her boys lend a helping hand, our founder Emma knows the importance of team spirit—on and off the pitch.
“Every product we create is inspired by moments like these, supporting families who live and love the game.”
According to her LinkedIn page, Emma has held a number of senior positions over the years.
She’s been the director of a property development and investment company in Dorset and also ran an online store specialising in discounted baby products.
Before that, she was the director of a cleaning company.
When is Laceeze Bands owner Emma Burke on Dragons’ Den?
You can catch the episode on BBC One this Thursday, January 9, 2025.
On the show, Emma will present her product to the panel of investors – the Dragons – hoping to exchange a stake in her business for the funding needed to take Laceeze to the next level.
In the episode, viewers will see Emma’s passion for supporting young athletes and her determination to offer practical solutions for families.
While the outcome of her pitch remains a mystery for now, her appearance shows how personal challenges can become something much greater.
It’s one of the reasons I LOVE Dragons Den so much, I get to learn from fellow dragons and entrepreneurs.
Deborah MeadenDragons' Den investor
Ahead of the show, she wrote on her LinkedIn page: “If I had a pound for every time someone said Laceeze should go on Dragons’ Den… I wouldn’t need to go on Dragons’ Den!”
Speaking about the experience, Emma said: “Stepping into the Den was a nerve-wracking yet exhilarating opportunity to share my story and vision with such high-profile and influential investors.
Deborah reposted a photo of the group on Instagram, writing: “Just 4 days to go and we are back and we have an interloper!!
“Actually a very welcome one @thebodycoach brings a really refreshing approach and expertise into Dragons Den.
“It’s one of the reasons I LOVE Dragons Den so much, I get to learn from fellow dragons and entrepreneurs.”
Joe Wicks, better known as The Body Coach, made his name as a nutrition enthusiast and is hugely popular for his best-selling cookbooks, like Lean in 15.
During the Coronavirus lockdown, he became even more of a household name with his daily PE with Joe live streams, helping families stay active.
In fact, he even set a world record in March 2020 for the most people tuning in to a live-streamed workout.
Wicks said: “I can’t wait to step into the Den as a Guest Dragon and meet all the brilliant and passionate entrepreneurs.
“My own journey has shown me that with the right mindset and a lot of hard work, anything is possible.”
Joining Joe in the new series is British fashion and beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall.
Many will remember Trinny from her days as co-host of the BBC show What Not to Wear, where she and Susannah Constantine dished out fashion advice and makeovers.
Since then, Trinny has made a name for herself in the beauty industry, founding her successful makeup and skincare brand, Trinny London, which focuses on personalised beauty products.
She’s also known for her fashion columns, style and beauty books, and her lively presence on social media, where she shares tips and tricks with her followers.
Woodall says: “Building and growing my beauty brand has been one of the great experiences of my life.
“I’m delighted to join the next series of Dragons’ Den as a Guest Dragon and look forward to discovering the fantastic ideas and passion that the entrepreneurs will bring to the table”
This isn’t the first time Dragons’ Den has welcomed a guest Dragon – last year, former footballer Gary Neville appeared on the panel for several episodes.
Who are the 2025 Dragons' Den investors?
Deborah Meaden: businessperson and TV personality
Emma Grede: CEO and co-founder of fashion brand, Good American
Joe Wicks: fitness expert and entrepreneur

Water is dropped by helicopter on the burning Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles[/caption]
Abbott Elementary has joined the growing list of halted shows[/caption]
Celebrity enclaves in the Hollywood Hills and Pacific Palisades have been turned to ash in what officials say are the most destructive fires in the city’s history.
A-listers like Paris Hilton, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Anthony Hopkins, and Billy Crystal have seen their homes reduced to smouldering rubble.
The cameras have stopped rolling on shows Disney-produced shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Doctor Odyssey and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
CBS bosses have also shut down production on NCIS, including it’s spin-off NCIS: Origins as well as After Midnight, Poppas House and The Neighborhood.
Filming was due to restart on season two of Fallout, but Amazon have now postponed shooting.
NBCUniversal have also halted work on Hacks, Suits LA, Loot and Happy’s Place.
FilmLA – the agency that permits filming in Los Angeles, said: “The LA County Fire Department has specifically instructed that all permits issued for filming in the communities of Altadena, La Crescenta, La Canada/Flintridge and unincorporated Pasadena are withdrawn.
“Other permit revocations are possible.”
While none of the studios are directly impacted or in the path of the fires, the toxic air emitted from the blazes is a risk to health.
Donald Trump and LA locals have referred to the fires as “apocalyptic” with black smoke blocking out the sky and glowing red embers blowing across the city.
The Palisades fire is the most destructive in Los Angeles’s history and has burned more than 17,000 acres, according to Cal Fire.
Most of those blazes started Tuesday, but new fires continue to start with a blaze in Studio City being extinguished.

Why police were called to first Dunnes Stores opening
BETWEEN the weekly food shops and bargain fashion - Dunnes Stores is a staple retailer in Irish households.
But this wasn’t always the case, and when the initial branch of the shop opened its doors in 1944 it caused quite the stir
On March 31 of the year, Ben Dunne opened the first ever Dunnes Stores on St Patrick’s Street in Co Cork.
Locals quickly learned of the grand opening and flooded into the store in what the retailer’s archives recall as a “shopping frenzy.”
The bargain clothing on sale inside the new store at “pre-war prices” was one of the factors cited for the buzz.
During the chaos a window was forced in and Gardai were called to the scene.
Cops worked to deal with the eager crowds and keep shoppers calm and safe before they made it into the store for their first Dunnes experience.
Fast forward some 80 years, the business now employs over 18,000 people and although an opening of a Dunnes branch hasn’t caused quite as much stir since the very first one, it has cemented its place as one of the nation’s leading retailers.
